The Radio 3 burble is still there but can be silenced by using the
Super Narrow IF setting so maybe our aerial system is not quite
perfect.

I betcha as much as you like its got one of those Horizontal Halo
abortions for FM. Neigh on useless they are(..

Listening on loudspeakers the background is effectively silent
