This just has to be the best 20 audio pounds I've ever spent, unlike a
Yamaha CT-700 or 800 in 1978 which cost a relative fortune and only
lasted a few months before being traded in as part payment on a motor
bike. A Suzuki X7, if you're reading Keith.
Faboloso!
Lovely little bike that I wouldn't say 'no' to today - a scally's bike
dressed up in nice, respectable commuter clothing from the Golden Age that
could/would go like a scalded cat, but could never quite outrun its own
'vapour trails'!! :-)
See them on You Tube; start here if you can stand the soundtrack:

Yamaha CT-700?
I had a pristine copy of the much-vaunted Trio/Kenwood KT917 a little while
back:

Very nice but frankly not miles ahead of my little Technics FM tuner and it
(the Trio) used to run so damned hot it bothered me - which is saying summat
for a 'valvey' type!
Sold it in a heartbeat for a good chunk but, IIRC, not on eBay...???
