Unluess I have mis-skimmed this article, it appears to belong to EMI
who has debt problems and it's being hinted/alluded/suggested that

Good idea, they could pass an act of parliament forcing Paul Mcartney
to work behind the counter at the cafe 7 days a week, might stop him
making any more dreadful recordings.




It's strange: to be a succesful composer it seems you either need to be
a bit of a knobber (see Subject) or die tragically young?



He wasn't one of my favourite composers but OTOH he never did anything truly
dreadful, unlike McCartney who has to answer for 'Mull of Kintyre', possibly my
most loathed recording of all time...err no wait...maybe it was his Frog Song.
