Wasn't this designed by Dave Aspinal about 1980 or thereabouts, or was
he involved in the Lentek outfit?. Another bunch located near the hub
of British Audio, around Huntingdon.

IIRC, they were done by Boothroyd, and Bob Stuart of Meridian.


Not sure of this, my (unreliable) memory is that the visual/mech design
was
Boothroyd, but IIRC Stan Curtis may have been involved in at least one
incarnation of the power amp. I think there was a magazine article about
it
a few years later as part of a series he did on various ways to design
power amps.
