That's because *false witness* is really the only
weapon in the vinyl-bashers arsenal....
If irony killed.
The real problem is all of the lies that vinyl
bigots tell when they are bashing digital.
What I can't understand is there is a uk group
specifically for vinyl lovers which is totally
moribund.
Good point. Furthermore, it was contrived fairly
recently, and its somnanbulence is not surprising to
many of us. Vinyl is a fairly tiny niche.
It is axiomatic in Usenet controversies that you can
really tell when you've gotten someone's goat and they
would be otherwise speechless, when they start crabbing
about spelling and punctuation. Here's an example of
that for future reference:
Malcolm deceptively removed proof of his guilt, which I will directly quote
from his post below.
How amusing. I'm sure that anyone who cares can note that
I made no comment whatsoever about your punctuation
Talk about poor reading comprehension. The rule was stated as a general
guide, so punctuation was mentioned even though the specific example didn't
include it.
it was about your comprehension.
That's obviously a lie, Malcolm. You Your deceptive intent is proven by the
fact that you removed all traces of your bad behavior from your post.
Here Malcolm is proof that you did complain about spelling in the form of a
direct quote from you:
Malcolm spewed:
c) Even if "somnambulence" was the correct word (which it
isn't), it is spelt "somnambulance".
Obviously Malcolm, a complaint about spelling, your obviously intentional
deceptive redaction notwithstanding.
My word choice was calculated to produce a knee-jerk from one or more of our
local vinyl bigots, and it worked.
Thank you for reconfirming my point.
That's a lame IKWYABWAI if I ever saw one.
