Most of the BSR turntables I am familiar with from the
60s and 70s were cheaper than cheap and had ceramic
cartridges.

The BSR was factory-mounted on top of the Sharp SG-164U
receiver/8-track unit.
My guess is that it is from 1970 (+/- 5 years).

Indubitably a ceramic cartridge.
