My newsreader news.eternal-september.org is playing up and won;t allow me to
reply to some posts here - hence replying to my own reply which seemed to
have worked! Now to see if it will allow me to post this!

I'm using eternal september too. I haven't noticed any problems apart
from the odd failure to open any kind of connection at all.
