Really ****ed me off when I heard this on the radio. I really liked his
music form all the great 60's movies.

I really enjoyed *The Beyondness of things* his 90's album, it sort of
distils all those fantastic things about his music that made all those
films so superb. The incidental music in Moonraker , Dances with wolves
etc .

Check it out

Listen to this whilst driving in the Swiss alps - you expect to come
across the evil professor ****flaps hidden mountain hideaway just like
on James Bond.

RIP John Barry a genuine talent - we don't see film scores like that
now, nor incidental music. What was the last great film score ?

Clint Mansell does good stuff. He scores Aronofsky's films as well. *Black
Swan is good and I bought his Moon score.
But John Barry is the man.- Hide quoted text -

You should check out Roy Budd, he did all the music for 'Get Carter',
I just bought the soundtrack CD:

Really good, with some dialogue from the film, excellent remastering.
