Personally, for navigating music, picture and video
files I can't be doing with anything less than a full PC
display, however small and a proper keyboard and mouse -
which you will notice on the Revo are both *wireless*.
There are other makes and models like:

Acer Aspire Revo R3700 Desktop

Basically netbooks in micro-desktop drag with no screen.

Yep, but the Revo R3610 (?) comes with wireless keyboard
and mouse. If you are squeezing one in (see link below)
you don't need another screen, you need a VGA switch (see
pic).

Wireless mice and keyboards work with anything that has a USB port. The
current wireless mouse/keyboard USB interface is smaller than a typical
flash drive. Way smaller.

It seems to me that having a micro-desktop and a desktop sharing a screen
misses a lot of the advantage of the micro-desktop which is the small
footprint.

It is no big secret that most modern desktops are big empty boxes. I've been
building desktops with full power and complement of drives (even RAID
arrays!) in this case for several years:

It sits under a LCD monitor and the feet of the monitor sit near its
corners. IOW, negligable additional footprint as compared to anything
smaller.

This case works with 100% standard system boards, add-on boards, CPUs, heat
sinks and drives. OK, my RAID machines have no floppy drive. ;-)

Floppy drives, what are those? ;-)
