Default Quad service

In article , Miguel

Hello,

Do folks have any recent experience of Quad (Huntingdon) service since
they became IAG? I will phone them about my Quad 44 which could use a
"tune-up" after 22 years or so. They do not answer emails to the
address given on their web site. Amazingly my ESL 63s of similar
vintage still seem very good (but of course my ears are that much
older too!) Anyway, no audible distortion and thay remain crisp and
seem well balanced still. But they have never been driven very hard.

Horror story of the day: the father of a friend who decided that his
ESL63 speakers, still in perfect working order, took up too much room
disposed of them in a skip. I am suffering PTSD after hearing this;
they still fetch a good price.

And I once found a complete fully working and performing Studer B67 in a
skip too;'!...

Any experience of Quad service much appreciated. Or even
recommendations for alternative service agents for Quad.

Well last time I used them they were fine but that was some years ago
now..
