Horror story of the day: the father of a friend who decided that his
ESL63 speakers, still in perfect working order, took up too much room
disposed of them in a skip. I am suffering PTSD after hearing this;
they still fetch a good price.


And I once found a complete fully working and performing Studer B67 in a
skip too;'!...

A colleague once found a perfectly good Nagra in a skip - all it
needed was a new fuse. Amazing what people will throw away, here I
often see seemimngly good furniture in the skip that could be given to
a charitable organisation who will collect for free.
