It's out of area for BBC London anyway, I'd have expected BBC 3CR, and what
was Chiltern (now Heart Herts !)

Hmm - I never thought of it as out of area. I live in Hampstead and
work in Stevenage, so BBC London is loud and clear all the way to
work.
