Why don't you try using an old media player.


Thanks for the suggestion. AFAIAA the latest version of WMP that
supported DRM file reinstall was WMP 9 which is unfortunately not
compatible with my OS - Win7.

I'm not sure if I tried to run my W98 player in W7, but it works in XP.


I downloaded WMP 9 and tried to install it but Win 7 refused to accept
it - just pop-ups indicating incompatibility.

Have you tried other players, like Real Alternative?


I have tried other players such as Media Player Classic to no avail
but AFAIAA as the .bak licence files were created using WMP only WMP
is able to access them.
