So far, I cannot get it to work with my desktop (64 bit Win 7), but that
is not unexpected, since I often experience issues with this machine.
When I get a chance, I'll try it with my laptop (32 bit Win XP Pro) and
report.

I've now exchanged emails with quantasylum. It seems that their device does
*not* use the standard Release 1/2 USB Audio protocols. If that's correct
it will be useless from my POV as I need to be able to write open programs
for platforms like Linux and RISC OS. Not be tied by a binary driver or
their own software. Shame as otherwise it looks good. I'd be interested to
hear how you get on with it.

FWIW I've now had an email from Behringer about their UMC202, etc. I've
asked them about this but not had a reply as yet. So I may just give up
waiting and buy one, fingers crossed.

I also emailed studiospares, but haven't yet had a response. I'll prod them
again, if only because I'd probably buy from them. Although the lack of
response makes me think maybe I'd be better looking elsewhere... :-/
