Talk about an old thread. ;-)

But while we're at it, mine has taken to go into oscillation (sometimes)
triggered by say a light being switched on or off in the same room. What I
hear sounds like mains hum, on both channels. Switching it off and on
again sorts it. Another weird fault. ;-)
