Yes, some discs do flag this. However in some cases this may be due to the
disc producers setting the flag in error.

Harder to tell which players do or don't take it into account. But I
suspect most 'ripping' programs don't.

What test CD?


Denon Audio Technical CD 38C39-7147.
GoldWave doesn't de-emphasise when ripping tracks.
I haven't found any other software that will show the flag.
