Default Decent phono cable.

Need some well screened co-ax 'phono' cable. A quick look at CPC shows
only the usual lapped screen variety. Which I already have.

Basically, I need to run an unbalanced circuit close to some mains
lighting wiring which has a dimmer. And the stuff I have is letting in
buzz.

Tried some RG 59 I have lying around which eliminates the buzz - but I
don't have enough and would prefer a more flexible audio cable.

Happy to buy a reel. It will all get used - eventually.

I'm guessing a braided screen plus perhaps a conductive plastic layer
would be ideal?

Individual wires are plastic coated, so corrosion is a non-event. Best
of all, because it is an 'audiophile' cable and no longer flavour of the
month (it's about 20 years old), it will be very cheap. Maybe even free.
And, despite the fact it is (or was) an 'audiophile' product, quality is
very high. This is the stuff I use now:

Obviously, this is retail pricing, but you get the idea. Connectors are
hand soldered(!) and cable quality is very impressive, with PE insulated
centre conductor, with braid and foil shield. I just cut to length, if
required.
