Old skool here in the depths of Wales. No gas and a different domestic
situation.

Some background central heating from a kerosene boiler at around
25p/litre. Plus a roaring log fire each evening that supplies oodles of
hot water and some of the radiators. Wood cost is £0.00 but I have to
chop the trees down myself.

Overall, it's so cheap that we don't have to worry much about scheduling
and control. Horses for courses I guess.


Well, in case you do, they have a forum that allows users to make
requests for new features - they seem to respond to it too, although I
guess that will stop once they get beyond early adopters. I'll ask
them for log fire control; that should sort out the men from the boys
in their software department.
