No that cannot be right because v 6.2 is the version which I bought
originally, and it had been on sale for many years before that. A
colleague of mine uses 4.15 which he updated from 4.0.

No. While reading your post I was distracted by landing at Arlanda.

I can understand that you may not be familiar with 'Acorn' (RISC OS)
software of the era. So won't know from experience. But I was using their
systems at the time. It appeared for RISC OS long before it did for
Windows or Macs.


I had a Commodore C64 in 1985 followed by a Commodore PC in 1985
and then Amiga. (with Music Composer software, - five staves with a G clef
filled the screen:-) I used Mac for many years, in post production as it
was
the platform chosen by New England Digital.

So no Acorn.
