Default This Sunday morning for insomniacs on R4

Actually, downloading both the short and long version of this event
yesterday, I'm most disappointed. Its full of abscond other experts
rabbiting, singers singing, poets waxing lyrical and more rabbit than
Sainsbury's. I wanted to hear the birds, Mr broadcaster, not your so called
experts wittering on, or Will Young trying to sound like a twitcher.
So next time the BBC do this, perhaps we can have it with no commentary at
all, nor a long breath in the middle for the shipping forecast.

What a waste of an opportunity.

thanks.

Eh, birds are about the nicest form of "noise pollution" going ...

Not when they have woken you up at 3:30 and all you can do is lie
there listening and thinking - yes you already said that, now will you
just shut up.

Give me a passing car any day (not that I hear any of those). It does
its thing, then buggers off somewhere else.
