Default Sony MDR-EX71SLB - neckchain style?

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the Sony MDR-EX71SLB earphones have a 'neckchain'
style cord, i.e. do they have a short left side and a longer right?

Thanks,

Simon.

The latter, short left long right. This is the only thing that annoys
me about them, the sound is amazing, the base is something else! When
walking with these on remember to extra care when crossing the road
etc!

The EX70s do have a very short left cord and a longer right.

Thanks,

Some ppl have reported that the rubber cones for the EX71 can come off in
your ear...any experience of this?

No, not in about a year's worth of use.

But I can tell you from personal experience NEVER to try putting the the
cones from Etymotic earphones onto Koss "the Plug" earphones. I did;
the cones came off deep in my ears, and as no one else was at home I had
to drive to my local hospital in considerable pain to get them removed.
Worse than the pain was the embarrassment of having to tell the doctor
what I'd done!
