Who are the hot ticket for HDD based car audio?
I have been a previous user of the ipod and standard cd head unit, Quality
and ease of use are simply un-beatable but lacks itegration into the car,
you can now pick up the alpine "ipod ready" cd...

Anyone have experience of fitting a 2 din stereo into a ford, cougar
(CD6000) apature, I have heard these units are not true 2 DIN size.
I want to fit a 2 DIN 6.5 tft dvd touchscreen unit.

Audio out on Kenwood CD head unit
You must ensure the impedence matches that of your head unit or you will
kill it quickly, the speakers will have this printed on it, provided they
match you can run the speakers off the head...

Which FM modulatoris worth having/to be avoided?
I have used several of these modulators and found them to be rubbish both
wired and wireless, however bought a multichanger for my old man on ebay and
the adapter supplied to connect to his nissan...
