Default Audio out on Kenwood CD head unit

I have a Kenwood CD/radio head unit with phono audio out on the back.

I have just been given a large speaker set for the boot of my car that has
connectors on each side (presumably for left and right speakers) they are
the push a cable in type of connector, 2 on each side one red and one black

Can I simply run leads from the audio out on my head unit to this speaker
set, or will it require another amplifier?

Thanks for any help in advance

You must ensure the impedence matches that of your head unit or you will
kill it quickly, the speakers will have this printed on it, provided they
match you can run the speakers off the head unit.

Sorry just realized you mean the line out with rca jacks, for this you will
need a seperate amp.
