I currently have a Clarion CDC634 6-disc changer and Clarion ARX5371R head
unit, as fitted as standard to my Nissan 200SX. The head unit has now gone
faulty so I'm looking at replacing it, without having to replace the CD
unit.

So, any ideas which Clarion head units (either radio/CD or radio/cassette,
and preferably black, not silver) are compatible with my CD changer. Or can
I go to another manufacturer, like Sony?
