Cheers for the help, I think I understand now. is the sub likely to include
the two phono leads? what about the power and remote on leads? also, what
size fuse should I use? its a built in 100w amp.

I'm no expert at this but this is my understanding: (excuse the lack of
structure, i've tried bulleting it)

-The rating (4 X 52) from the head unit is irrelevent as that is only the
internal amplifier of the H/U. Don't worry about a power rating for this
as
i'm sure an active sub would be well matched with an amp. BTW the
TS-WX10LPA
is an active sub

- Wiring - To install you will need to run you live cable directly from
the
battery +ve terminal (don't forget to put an inline fuse as close to
battery
as poss. You will need to find yourself a good ground point (try looking
for
a bit of bare metal e.g. bolt's etc...) in the boot; i've always found
it's
best practice to keep the gnd wire as short as possible. You will also
need
to run a RCA signal cable & a remote cable (i use generic 5 amp cable for
this) from the H/U. Apart from that it should be well marked on the amp
where to connect everything.

- If your like me and eventually end up start playing - GET YOURSELF A
MULTIMETER (this is one of the most important/useful tools you can buy)

- Lastly enjoy. You will not realise how poor stock car speakers bass
response are until you sub'ed a car.
