Default What CD changer to add to a focus 5000RDS?

Time has come to add a cd changer to my stereo. I'm not after excellent
sound quality (I'm perfectly happy with the sound from the standard tape
deck) - I just want the convenience of a CD player. Criteria a

- must work with the standard head unit. (5000RDS). Had enough of stereos
getting nicked.

- must play CDRs and preferably CDRWs.

Thats about it. Bonus points for sound quality but only if it doesn't add a
huge price premium. Would be nice if it changed CDs reasonably quickly.

A quick hunt around the web show plenty of choice.

Kenwood KDCC469 - £170 ish
Sony CDX-T69 - £145 ish
Pioneer CDX-P670 - £185 ish
Alpine CHM-S630 - £165 ish
Visteon 2080 - £200 ish

So, any suggestions? Obviously I am tempted by the Sony as it is much cheaper.
Any major reason why I should go for something else?

I take it they all fit under the passenger seat - can they just be stuck to
the floor with velcro with out problem? Some are advertised as coming with
velcro...

Cheers,

Darren

Personally, I'd go with either:-

Sony as it's cheapest and has the most interfaces available for other
vehicles so there's a better chance of being able to move it to your
next car.
Alpine, as they're now a sensible price, and you'll end up with the
best quality system should you want add a head unit to it at a later
date.

Anyone got any comments on comparitive reliability of these? Can I assume
that the speed of disc changing is comparable? I had a hire car a while
back and that took weeks to change cd :-(

Cheers,

Darren

Statistically, the Alpine's far more reliable. To be fair to Sony
though, figures are probably slightly skewed by the fact that Alpine
repair, rather than replace units nearer to time of purchase.
