Default New sub, please help??

Hi,

I'm looking to replace my sub. I currrently have a JL Audio 12W0 running
off an Alpine MRV 1005 amp. I am looking at a new sub, an Audiobahn
AW1251T:

12" natural sound woofer, 45oz strontium magnet, 400w RMS, freq response
24hz-1khz, efficiency 91db, foam surround, non pressed non transfer paper
cone, KM3 coated for virtually no cone distortion. 2" 4 layer ASV voice
coil, dual 4 ohm, 2ohm or 8ohm operation

Does anyone know if this is a good sub. How would it compare to the 12WO?

P.S. Also what about the model up from that particular Audiobahn sub, the
AWC12T?

Many thanks

Ben

Stop right there!! Why change the 12W0 for another (IMHO inferior) 12"??
The JLs have never looked like much but they are still one of the best on
the market.

I've had my W1 for nearly 10 years now in a variety of cars and different
enclosures and it is still as good as new - and I've been chucking serious
watts at it. I've blown countless other brands but the JL just keeps

going
and sounds good too.

I know that this is REALLY cheeky, but I have a MK1 W3 D4 sub with enclose
you can have for a nice price......

Hi Tim

How much would you want for it. I am very happy with JL Audio but by
putting serious power through it cause the wire to pull out the back of the
cone through so much movement. I want something that can take more than a
serious beating. Let me know

Cheers

Ben
