Yes they do work as in detecting microwave signals, I have the exact same
unit. It does well detecting every set of traffic lights and also shop
doorways! That's even in the mode that is meant to stop this happening.
The Laser detection does NOT work on this unit as I decided to drive past a
laser trap a few times on the A41. Fortunately I was doing 35 in a 40mph
zone at the time. It was on a tripod and happily printing out photos, I saw
a few people being stopped. The police man was laughing saying by the time
the device had triggered it would be too late anyway. He's right. The
radar guns triggered it and so did the odd speed camera that aims at the
BACK of the car. Again that would be too late!
My Snooper was an overpriced TOY as it does NOT do what the manufacturer
claims from personal experience of using the "S1".
Best to avoid them altogether as they're far too expensive for what they are
anyway.
