Default Blaupunkt CAR 300 code setting

Help! I have changed the car battery and therefore need to re-enter the
4 digit security code. How do I do this? I have the code but don't know
what to do to enter it.
Thanks
Mike

Sit in the car and make sure the radio is off, put the ignition on,
press and hold down the AS button on the radio and switch the radio on
while keeping the AS button pressed. If you havent tried any any codes
it should show 10 - - - - After you have this release the AS button.
Using the preset buttons 1-4 put the code number in until it shows on
the display. Once you have done this press and hold the AS button
again, you should have sound...

An accurate and helpful reply but why the comment at the end?

That'll be because you, I and a good few other people questioned the
motives behind a post relating to the business he works for a year
ago.
