You'll probably also need to get the facia unit out too as the
catches for the Pioneer unit are bound to be different to the Sony
one. That normally involves bending the tags back out from behind the
dash, can be awkward but keep those screwdrivers around as they might
help there too



Yeah, I realised this too late because once I'd hooked up the Pioneer it'd
gone dark.

Anyway, the Sony did have an ISO connector on it so it was very painless.

BTW, how the hell do you change the speakers that are in the front doors? I
wrote a Peugeot off a couple of years ago and when I removed the front
speakers from the doors I just canibalised the doors, because I could
basically.

But how do you take all the trim off to get to the speakers so that the when
you put the trim back on it doesn't look like a butcher has just changed the
speakers?
