Default I retreived my stolen car

After having my Renault Clio stolen for three weeks the theif was
eventually caught driving outside the bloody police station in Glasgow,
lol. Thing is though all the stuff in my car had been ripped out. This
included

1 Kenwood head unit,
1 Vibe Subwoofer
4 snooker cues.

The total price of all these items would of been about 250 pounds
roughly...after asking insurcance, they said all they could give us was 100
pounds!!!(direct line btw) . We decided not to claim as the premiums would
go up and we would lose our no claims. Thing is though..the guy that was
caught recently pleaded guilty in court, don't know wot else has happened
to him.

Is there anyway I can get my stuff back?

The guy should have to pay in some sort of way seeing as he has pleaded
guilty shouldn't he?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Hampton

Yep , you can claim compensation from him but as he is almost certainly
unemployed this will be at the rate of £1 a week if he does hand over any
money

Direct Line cover audio and communication equipment up to a value of £1000,
as long as you tell them about what you have fitted.

If not they only have to pay to replace with standard equipment.
