Default Gamma Stereo Help?

Hello,

I have just bought a 2003 Passat 1.9 SE. This has a GAMMA head unit
and also an in dash 6 disc changer which I believe is a SONY. I would
like to replace the head unit with a Kenwood.

Do i need to get a convertor adapter in order to connect the Kenwood
Head Unit?

Will it be possible to connect the Kenwood Unit with the SONY changer
with some sort of adapter/convertor, or is this not possible at all?

Many thanks for your help.

Why not just buy a Sony headunit? they are very nice the new ones.

You wont be able to convert sony to kenwood, and you will need a double din
converter for a passat, as I think your stereo is double height.

You should not need an ISO wiring adapter, as your car is new, but incase
look in halfords and see if they make one, you will prob have an amp that
will need powering as well.

Default Gamma Stereo Help?

Hi

I also have a passat with a Gamma Stereo, your old headunit should fit into
the slot left behing when you remove the gamma, a iso connector will be
required (Halfords??)

Also the 6 disc changer will not work with any other brand of stereo..
