Thanks for your reply.

So, bundle both Red & Yellow to positive terminal via gold block, Black to
ground on the boat's metal hull via a screwed terminal, and connect speakers
as you would with any audio system, the head unit has a 15amp fuse, taking a
couple of spares with me.

Again, thanks for the info and confirmation, just hope I am not getting too
ambitious expecting an Egyptian Nile boatman too look after and operate this
set-up.

strung together this:

For the head unit I have an ISO connector block that I can utilise and

cut,
if I use the Yellow, Red and Black cables, how and where do I connect

these,

Black will be earth.

Red\yellow will be permanent positive for storing of settings and the
other will be the switched supply which is usually run through the
ignition. Connect both of these to a permenant positive and you will
be able to use the unit as long as the battery is connected.

You will also want to put a fuse in line with the positive feed if the
head unit doesn't already have one. Check the unit for an actual fuse
rating.

have two pairs of grey cables I can extend for the speakers, will this

do.

Yep, just use soem semi decent cable that doesn't lose most of the
power by the time it arrives at the speaker.
