Default Clarion CeNET / UK US Compatibility?

After purchasing an iPod, Im looking to connect it to my stereo.

Balls goes that theory. I've got an 11 Year Old Clarion with C-Bus.

I tried the simple interface design, but no luck.

So new radio I guess.

Im looking to stick with Clarion if I can, but talking to Clarion sales
is very frustrating.

Obviously I need a UK radio to support RDS and ISO connectors etc, but
I've noticed that Clarion in the US are to be releasing an interface for
the iPod, a wired, CeNet interface.

But Clarion staff in the UK appear to be incompetent at finding out
whether EA1251B, the US iPod interface for "ALL CeNET equipped CD
players" will be compatible with a UK head unit.

They just keep spouting marketing regulations and ****e and I say "but
its a technical issue".

Anyone have any ideas? I mean, if I was to buy a US CeNet changer, would
it work with a UK CeNet head unit?

Cheers
Simon
