Default Fiat Punto and Panasonic MP3 Stereo

I've tried to fit the so called ISO connectors for the car (2004
model) and the Panansonic unit but for some reason they do not work.
I've tried to decifer the connector diagrams but cannot find what the
abbreviations mean? Can anyone help? Here are the diagrams:

Car:
Top: Ground - NC - UB(B is subscript) - NC
Bottom: NC - NC - CAN A - CAN B

Stereo:
Top: Ground - NC - BATTERY(perm) - NC
Bottom: Power(IGN) - AUT ANN - NC - NC

I'm presuming NC means no connector. But what does UB, CAN A and CAN B
mean? Does anyone know what wires I need to swap in order to get it to
work?

Any help would be great!
