Default Installing a Dension IceLink interface

I have bought a Dension IceLink interface for my Fiat Stilo. To fit it
I have to pull out the radio and plug it into the back. Someone
mentioned to me that there is a hatch under the dash for access ot the
back of the radio, but I certainly can't find it.

To remove the radio I think I need to get hold of some special tool to
pull it out with - can I just get this from a car spares shop? Is it
easy to do or are special car-thief skills required?

Followups to uk.rec.audio.car.
