Default MP3 changer in BMW E46 (3 series)

Hi,
I have a 2001 BMW E46 with the bussiness radio. I want to install an MP3 CD
changer in it. I heard about Sony CDX-T70MX & Alpine CHA-S634 . I also heard
that I'll need some additional adapter to hook it up. I found a place on
tottenham crt rd. that's offering it fo £200

Is this a good deal and are the components of good quality or should I look
somewhere else?
Regards,
Raphael

You can do the same thing with ICD interfaces (the same ones Alpine
themselves use), but I'd be slightly wary of that particular one
unless you know anyone who's tried it as I've never heard Soundlinx
say that their interfaces are definitely OK with MP3 changers. These
must presumably vary in the way they're controlled as Connects2 made
software revisions to their interfaces to accomodate MP3 changers.
FWIW, we've used both the ICD package and the Connects2/Sony
combination without any problems.

Hi JOn,
Thanks for your help. I'm actually looking into getting an ipod installed in
the car as in the end it'll cost more or less the same and I'll be able to
carry with me 60 gigs of music SWEETTT!!!!
Regards,
Raphael
