Missus ordered me a shiny new H/U online recently and imagine to my horror
to find that my lovely new stereo comes as a bare unit. I mean i know its
only a 120 quid H/U but i would at least expect a ISO cable to be supplied
but no (trip to halfruads for me this morning then) and imagine my dismay
when i realise if i want to use the units preouts i'm going to have to fork
out another 15 quid for a pre-out lead

C'mon Blaupunkt sort it out you robbing buggers

would also be better if retailers would highlight this to unsuspecting
buyers as i'm sure if this had been known in advance i would have been far
more likely to choose from a different manufacturer

Blaupunkt are ace. Same comments apply to most head units.

Personnally I've always had a Blue Spot and cannot fault the actual unit or
the after sales service...

Tuner was very weak in my old Modena, compared to the current Sony R/C I
have in my Current Saab and the Toyota one in the Celica.

Just got an Alpine fitted - got a sony sub to sort out too (just a little
one) - keeping the factory speakers for now (alpine has a highpass - handy).

Very impressed with the reception on the alpine. Goes damned loud too...
