My radio and c/d have been stolen from my wife's C3 Plurial (05) car,.I
have purchased an after market radio, and when i fit the radio there
is an audio bleep from the speakers when the radio is turned on. Can
anyone advise me why this is.

This might be a silly question, but is the stereo just designed to beep when
it is turned on? In a similar way that you can turn key beep on and off on
some models?

The radio's donot blep when they are turned on. The bleeping stars
about 10 seconds after it is turned on and continues to bleep at
regular intervals. and continues. I have been advised that the radios
are coded to the VIN munber of the Vehicles.

Which would normally mean it wouldn't work at all. Have got TA turned on
but you're not tuned to a traffic programme?
