I've just bought a 2001 VW Passat. The headunit is a standard VW
Gamma radio/casette unit connected to a VW CD changer in the boot. The
CD changer is becoming a bit flaky - it doesn't like CD-Rs and is
starting to refuse to play normal CDs.

Ideally I want to replace the headunit with a CD/Radio/MP3 unit which
talks Bluetooth to my mobile - as I'm spending a little over 2 hours/day
in the car.

Ideally I don't want to have to start taking panels off to route cables,
and if it would be able to talk to the existing cd changer without
changing any other cabling that would be great too.

Is a decent headunit and aftermarket Bluetooth kit the way to go?
Can anyone recommend a decent setup?
