Default A/V Transmission

After the electrians came in and put the wiring in, I had a look. They've
done two of them phono to phono with some very cheap looking stereo cabling
The other (supposedly for video) is proper 75Ohm stuff ended in short
lengths of the cheap stuff to the phono connectors.... I was hoping to put
digital along one... Would video transmission be ok along this cheap stuff,
using the 75Ohm for the sound?

Also, yeah I know the connectors are different, but would it be possible to
use two RF (TV) co-ax faceplates connected to transmit digital sound over
like phono? Its the same sort of wiring, just different connectors...

Thanks,

Ben
