One of the last of the 'old school' engineers .........has passed away.

He certainly left his mark in Audio & related Industries and he will be
remembered for a long time to come.. a true legend.

Agreed, very sad. Not been a good year for audio.

Very sad, one of the very few truly competent engineers to have
inhabited the audio industry. Sadly missed.

I'm cross-posting this to uk.people.dead. I'm sure Peter contributed far
more than most of the aristocrats whose deaths typically get reported in
that group, and I'm sure a lot more people will want to know of his passing
than the aristrocrats'.

I never dealt with Peter Walker, but "the boy did good".

This evening I collected my new ESL57s.
I'll turn them up to 11 as a tribute.
