the CDs created by this company?

No, I have been delighted! I have recently had six records

transferred
and all are excellent. The sound is slightly better than I can get

off
the records myself (using my Shure M75E cartridge and Thorens TD150
turntable with Thorens pickup arm). They seem to have struck the

right
balance between removing major clicks and reducing general surface

noise
without degrading the sound. For the avoidance of doubt, I have no
connection with the firm other than as a customer.

Well I have to say I'm impressed. Sent them 2 LPs on Friday and got my
CDs back this morning! Had a quick scan through the tracks and they
all sound find - even on the car's CD player. Audio quality seems
perhaps a little clearer but maybe that's because some of the annoying
crackle and clicks which you used to get from the record now seem to
have gone. No change to the tone of the rest of the tracks mind. And
nicely designed, clear and simple covers and labels.

I did email them a bit before I placed my order last Friday to check
up on a few things. They assured me that customers always get back
only their music on CD and that 'stocks' of common albums are not
held. In fact they said it would be impossible to do this because they
hardly ever get the same album twice! They wouldn't tell me exactly
how they create customers' CDs but they assured me that the original
digital recording is only edited manually to remove the effects of
imperfections in the original media.

Anyway. I'm gonna send them a few of my own vinyl records today before
this 20% off christmas promotion ends.

Merry Christmas!

Nice to hear that some companies still give service and value for money.
