Default 3xPhono Plugs to 3xPhono Sockets?

Many thanks for the replies. In the end I settled for a new 1m 3phono to
phono lead and a 3 way phono adapter with sockets on both sides.

There's plenty of the more common audio types on Ebay. And NOS rather than
Russian.

greed
Yes but just think if you had a Shed with a pallet of 300b's you had
bought for £300 twenty years ago...
/greed

You could sell them and buy some good valves....

Ann Summers? Discretion assured!

When I were a lad you could bicycle down to the corner shop
at any hour and buy a BC108 or a 2N3055.

Funny you should say that, when I first got into electronics at the age
of 13 (ish) in 1973, I did have a corner shop in Peterborough, that did
sell such things. Mind you, everything I build from that shop (Torr's
electronics, in Lincon Road PB, the shop and the corner are long gone)
never worked. it was only after I started getting bits from Watford
Electronics via PW, that things started working.

It is a terrible pity that I didn't have the foresight to
buy up a load of valves when they were cheap!

Tell me about it...

We're quite fortunate to still have H Gee's shop at 94 Mill road in
Cambridge. Its amazing what they still supply there, valves even!.....
