Default Klipsch K-2 tweeks?

I was lucky enough to pick up a pair of old K-2s the other week at a
garage sale for a pittance. Never one to leave well enough alone, I was
wondering if anyone has done any mods to these to perhaps open up the
sound stage yet tighten up imaging?
All ears,
A.T.

Not asking much, are you?

Sell them on ebay and buy some hi-fi speakers.

Ah, my friend, I suppose that I am asking for the Moon and that's why
I'm shooting for it. You see, I'm not terribly well off financially and
so to find the Klipsch K-2s for so cheap was a real blessing. Poverty
has been the catalyst for me to pick up a soldering iron and schematic
on more than one occasion. I recently found an old (said to be dead)
Hitachi integrated amp for $15.00 and with forty five minutes and some
PB Blaster contact cleaner, I now have some lo-fi power to my not very
high-Fi speakers. I cannot afford to buy high-end stuff outright so I
depend upon upgrading lo-end stuff. I just thought that I would ask this
board if they knew of any improvements that I might be able to make to
the K-2s and the Hitachi for that matter.
Thank you,
A.T.
