Oh ok, it didn't come with a PSU, I s'pose but came with a standard
connector for a standard psu.

For a fair while I was playing sound on a 2 speed PC CD drive which had
a front panel play / next button.

hardly hifi but the computer industry knows how to keep the price down
and deliver the goods...

That's exactly what cost me £12 ! £10 for a floppy drive, £12 for a
CD. £250·00 for the DAC !
