Anyone have experience of running M71s on wall brackets rather than
stands? I'm ... er ... "negotiating" with SWMBO about the setup of a
system in our dining room (which will then double as a fall-back,
TV-less listening room). M71s are currently top of the possibles list
for speakers, but the prospect of speaker stands has been vetoed :-(

If this isn't a satisfactory way of mounting M71s, any suggestions for
similarly sized (and priced!) boxes that will run on brackets?

Hmmm ... if I said that I was planning on running these from a valve
amp, using vinyl as the sole source, and connecting them using matched
plutonium cables cooled in liquid nitrogen, would I stand more chance
of getting a response ;-)

OK, now ya got my attention (and stop replying to yourself - you'll go
blind....) my son has a pair of 601s on wall brackets and they look fine
(not too big) and sound quite excellent. No idea on the price comparison
though.....
