Default recommendations for small monitor speakers

I've been out of the hifi loop for a while now and I wanted to find out the
group's recommendations on small monitor speakers. It has to be under 250
gbp and fill a medium sized room (16x8m). I have a REL Storm so something
that's bass light is no problem, I can have the REL fill what's missing. It
should be clean and neutral though through the mids and highs. Richer Sounds
is selling Mission M771e for 80 Pounds and it seems like quite a good deal.
Otherwise the AE Evo One looks like a good alternative.

Any help is appreciated!

I suppose it's all relative, but that's a pretty huge room (... you mean
feet?!). FWIW I've got a pair of 'interim' Mission 771e and the
mid-voice-treble is superb, a bit smooth, but the best cheapish speakers
I've come across (£80 from rs as you say). Bass is a bit weak though and
best without grilles. You might want to think about some decent stands, they
do work, and they need to be 6" or so from the wall.
