Normalise was switched on but I did turn it off as advised. No real
difference.
I have tried three makes of CDR and settled for JVC in the end.

Did you try simply copying it as data?


No only tried Audio CD

Anyway the deed is done now, sometimes simple solutions are best when
technology has defeated me!
