No, it was Matthews in Hurst St or Sherlock St, Birmingham,
depending on which page I looked at.
Wilmslow audio is closer, but they don't sell much cheap stuff.

Oh right, it's a disco place, but they keep loads of interesting speaker
building bits and the gaffer is into DIY audio.

I've seen him in various supermarket car parks in Coventry
with his coats. Never seen his speakers though.

He's running out of suckers, last time I saw him was last summer at the
Stoke services, the first time was at the services at Ju19 in about 1980, he
was selling watches as well. Guess he really woks hard, fair play to the
bloke.
